As you can see from the swatches, these colors are to die for, but how did they perform?
Review
I will be basing my review on the following criteria: Packaging, Pigmentation, and Performance
Packaging:2.5
The packaging is the biggest downside of these shadows. It's set up like a typical plastic palette with a clear lid, which I can already see the lid coming off. It's very cheap, but for 12 dollars for 28 eye shadows I can look past the packaging. It also comes in a seperate box that has the ingredients list.Pigmentation: 4
As you can see from the swatches, the colors swatch with one swipe at full opacity. The formula is really soft, but still drier than like Colour Pop eye shadows. The consistency of the shadows is creamy, but not too soft or crumbly so I don't think there will be any issues with shadows breaking. The only downside to these is that a lot of the lighter colors look the same on my skin tone. Since I don't own any of the Makeup Geek Foiled shadows I can't compare the pigmentation, but these are gorgeous! The jewel tone colors swatched the best and were true to the color in the pan.Performance: 4
These performed phenomenal! The blended easy and also were easy to build on if you needed to layer the colors. When I wore them to work, they lasted the whole day. With primer, the pigmentation is even better. The easiest way to apply them is to use a flat packing brush or your finger to build up the color. There are no mattes in this palette, so I had to use other shadows to complete a look. Other than that I really didn't have any other negatives.Final Thoughts
So, I've had this palette for a few weeks and I have been able to play around with the colors here is a look I've created using the eye shadows from this palette. I think for the price this palette is a must have! As stated above, the only real negative is the packaging, but I think if you store your makeup carefully you won't have huge issues with the cheap packaging. Leave a comment below and let me know what you think of this palette or if you plan to buy it.XO.
