Earlier this year or maybe even late last year, Nyx released a new line of lipsticks called the Liquid Suede Cream Lipsticks. Before, I purchased them there were so many mixed reviews that made me think I may not like these products. But of course, being the hoarder I am, I ended up picking up a few of the colors and i instantly fell in love. These also retail for 6.99 and can be found at Ulta or on the Nyx Cosmetics Website.



These were originally marketed as a Liquid lipstick and although they are not quite that, I think that these are still worth trying out.

What I like about them:

1. They are pigmented and give full opacity with little effort
2. Much more comfortable and less drying than a traditional liquid lipsticks
3. Fun colors
4. Long lasting
5.  These wear away nicely and don't crack or flake on the lips

What I don't like so much:

1. Applicator is huge; making it harder to get precise lines
2. Not transfer proof. These will transfer a little but still last through eating

As you can see from the lip swatches, the pigmentation on this is amazing. I also love that they stay on, but aren't dry like concrete on the lips. Everyone should try at least one color of these. As long as you don't go into it looking for that Liquid lipstick staying power, you will not be disappointed.
