A few weeks ago, I decided to try out Colourpop Cosmetics for the first time and picked up quite a few of their items. After seeing these on my timeline for months I finally bit the bullet and ordered some stuff. By ordered, I mean I placed 3 separate orders, so clearly I was little impressed I posted a review of the eyeshadows a few weeks ago and today I want to talk about their Ultra Satin Liquid Lipstick.

Y'all......OMG... I LOVE these!!!

What I love

1. Full opacity with on swipe.
2. The pigmentation is amazing
3. Comfortable to wear: These are non drying and don't ball up on the lips
4. Last for hours on the lips: These literally lasted several hours on my lips without me having to do serious touch ups.

The not so good

1. These are not kiss proof and they will transfer
2. These are not smear proof; I used a lipliner to get a crisper line and to keep the lipstick in place all day.

Lip Swatches

I have three colors to show you today:

Molly

I have been wearing this one nonstop. It is a muted mauve pink and is so gorgeous. I like to pair this with plum and brown liner, but I also love it on its own. This color is going to be flattering on a lot of different skin tones

Cozy

 

This one is so pretty in person. It's a bright coral orange and is poppin' for the Spring and summer. I wore this out on Sunday and got so many compliments on the color. I loved this one especially because of the way it wears down. It kind of fades instead of disappearing completely and it left an orange tint behind. So gorgeous!!

The Rabbit

This color is a a traditional warm fuchsia pink and is so freaking gorgeous on. It had a soft sheen. I plan to wear this with cool eyeshadow looks to provide a little balance. I also plan to wear this with a bare face and some mascara for a pop of color.


Overall, I think that the good far outweighs the bad when it comes to these satin lips. I just love how non drying and comfortable these are and that's what really sold me on this formula. I'm just saying though, if you can get your hands on these try them out. You will not be disappointed
