2016 was a pretty good year for me. I was able to start this blog last January and it has truly become something I look forward to doing as much as possible. Blogging definitely kept me sane in 2016 and I am looking forward to an even better 2017.
Goal setting is also important because it gives me something to work towards and helps with keeping my focus on the bigger pictures. I ususally try to break my larger goals down into smaller everyday or weekly task because it makes it easier for them to become a habit this way.
I also wanted to share a quick makeup I wore out on the 1st for an outing with some of my friends. I actually used a new palette that I plan on posting a review for this week, but I just couldn't wait to show off the look! Details will be posted below.
Purchase a Home
I have been working on this goal for a few months already, but my hopes are to purchase a new home within the next few months. I am excited to embark on that journey of owning my own property and really truly adulting!Travel to Europe
I have two European excursions planned for this year. One to France for my friends birthday and then to Greece for my own birthday. I make the big 3 - 0 this year so I have to bring it in a huge way.I have wanted to go to Greece since I was about 25 so going to Santorini will actually be a check off the bucket list for me.Push Myself to Meet my Fitness Goals
I don't really have a huge problem with working out, I actually really love it. It's being disciplined with my eating is what I struggle with. This year, I want to do a revamp of my diet and cook much more than I do right now. I tend to meal prep on Sundays for Mon-Wed, but I want to focus on not eating out the rest of the week. I also want to commit to going to the gym 4 days a week.Blog Every Day
Blogging has become something that I truly enjoy. My passion for makeup and beauty runs deep and I want to carve out more time to share more makeup looks, more product reviews and incorporate a lot more lifestyle posts this year. My goal this year is to stick to a blogging schedule and taking time from my busy social and work calendar to put out useful content that people will enjoy!Details

I am loving that purple lip! I admire your goals especially the traveling part. I have wanted to travel for the longest time but I always come up with excuses. Good luck on getting on to the property ladders.
