Makeup Revolution is a relatively new brand for me. I discovered their products last year around the same time I started my blog through Youtube. So when my local Ulta got a display, I ran and tried out as many products that were available at the time.

The brand offers a full range of products from primer all the way to finishing spray, but my favorite items from them are definitely their eye shadow palettes! They are constantly dropping new eye palettes, but today I want to share my top 3 picks from the brand and why you need to run out and try these palettes this year.

Just a quick note, Makeup Revolution is avaiable in the US at Ulta stores and Ulta.com. You can also pick them up on the TAM beauty website, although shipping to the US is like 12 dollars!

Newtrals vs Neutrals - $10 (Post)

This neutral palette from Makeup Revolution is the perfect everyday palette, especially for winter. For 10 dollars, you get 16 awesome wearable shades that can take your eye shadow game from basic all the way to full on glam (my fave!). This palette has it all including cool and warm tones, as well as matte and shimmer shades.  My favorite thing about this palette has got to be the red tones, the shimmery red in this palette is absolutely gorgeous. Unicorns Unite Salvation Palette $10

This palette is one of my favorites because it is truly a fun palette. I love the jewel toned color scheme of this particular palette, not only because its colorful but also because you can get a wide variety of looks just from this palette. There are 6 versatile matte shades to complement the bright jewel toned shimmer shades. Even though this is considered a "bright" palette, you could totally still get a subdued neutral look. I will insert some swatches of some of the shades from this palette.

Iconic Pro 3 Redemption Palette - $7 (Post)

This palette is really what got me interested in Makeup Revolution in the first place. It's basically a dupe of the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette and features 12 matte and shimmer shadows that don't look that impressive in the palette, but once you swatch them you will definitely not be disappointed in these. Not only are these pigmented, but they blend well and last all day with a good primer. Makeup Revolution is known for their dupes of popular palettes and this one is pretty much spot on to the Naked 3 palette and much more affordable. The quality of this palette far surpasses its 7 dollar price point. This palette is ideal for the girl who loves rose gold and pale pink looks, but is also doesn't want to spend $50 on a makeup palette.
