It seems like the older I get, the more flaky and dry my lips seem to be. I don't care how much I exfoliate or how much water I drink my lips have been seriously dying of thirst lately. This dilemma has made me gradually start gravitate to more hydrating lip formulas, which (of course) leads me to today's post.

Today, I want to talk about some of my favorite hydrating lipsticks that have been a staple in my makeup collection lately. Y'all know I love an affordable find, so most of these are under $10. Also, with fall fast approaching these lipsticks will be super clutch to add to your makeup collection

Colourpop Creme Lux Lipsticks $7

After trying out the Sephora #lipstories, I became obsessed with trying out new bullet lipsticks formulas, which brings me to my next pick. These Colourpop lipsticks came out a while ago, but it took me a while to try them out because Colourpop can be a bit overwhelming with their new releases. These lipsticks are super hydrating and the shades I have , Come On Sis and Pinkies Up are so opaque and comfortable as hell on the lips. I would consider the finish on these to be satin cream. These are also both super hydrating and long wearing.  These easily wearing 5 hours on me with minimal touch ups. Besides the shades I have, Colourpop offers this formula in tons of different shades here.

Coloured Raine Satin Lipsticks $17

Do not sleep on Coloured Raine y'all! If you haven't heard of this brand, it's a Black owned makeup brand based out of California. They offer quality products and the Satin Lipsticks are no exception. If you are looking for a bold color lipstick that won't dry out your lips, look no further than these. They last even longer than the Colourpop lipsticks I mentioned above and are easily my favorite formula of cream lipsticks. The opacity on these is unreal, I can truly get full color with one swipe, making these a winner in my book. Sephora #Lipstories $8

This lippie comes in a few different finishes (creme, matte, metallic), but trust me they are all hydrating and not to mention gorgeous on the lips. These are pigmented, super light weight, and apply opaque with one swipe. My fave shade is definitely Brunch Date, a warm nude. At $8, these are a must try in any color. I did a full post here.

Nicka K Silky Creme Lipsticks $2.99

Don't let the price of this lipstick fool you! For $2.99, this really packs a punch and has everything you need in a lipstick for the colder months. The formula is ultra moisturizing, lightweight  and comfortable. As you can see from the swatches above, the opacity is also really good. I think that these wear really well with lip liner, although I definitely have worn it on its own and not experienced feathering. The whole range is 10 gorgeous shades, but my personal favorite is Au Chico, a mid tone mauve. I picked these up at my local beauty supply store, but you can get them online at Ikatehouse.com here.
